Job Description:

 Large Animal Veterinarians are expected to be independent workers with the ability to effectively relate with clients and patients. The successful candidate will be able to manage a shared Large Animal schedule efficiently so as to serve as many clients as effectively possible. Use of mobile radiographs, company truck, and other equipment is expected.  
Training Required:
 Licensure to Practice Veterinary Medicine in NY & PA required.  
Experience Desired:
 Experience in bovine and equine medicine is preferred with practical skills and aptitudes demonstrated. An understanding of private practice and small and large dairy and beef operations is also preferred.  
 Salary negotiable based on experience.

Practice Area:  EMVC is situated in the heart of the Endless Mountains Region of Northeast PA and Southern NY. The territory is large with a vast array of clientele. We service small family owned farms and large corporate owned operations. The rural setting of the area provides many activities outside of the Veterinarian occupation including hiking the many trails, mountain regions and parks in the area, boating in the finger lakes region of NY, arts within a short drive, etc. We are located just a few hours away from New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Ithaca, etc.
