Objective:
|
Large animal practice seeking two motivated associates to add to our team. Located in Upstate NY on the VT boarder we see a variety of cases and service a variety of disciplines. Many opportunities to develop skills and specialties while enjoying the rural countryside and a supportive community.
Our practice provides care for all large animal species in our area, with an emphasis on equine ambulatory. Candidates would have the opportunity to tailor their work load towards their species of interest with the opportunity to place more emphasis on equine or bovine/small ruminant with willingness to cover emergencies for all species. We do have a haul in facility with the option for referral to larger facilities near by. We strive to provide high quality ambulatory service as has been the case for well over 60 years.
Each veterinarian is provided a practice vehicle, all equipment including ultrasound, digital radiography, power dentistry and all other necessary supplies. Scheduling and on call shared equally between all veterinarians.
Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that encourages long term commitment to our practice and community. Option to buy in available for the interested candidate. |

Training Required:

DVM with eligible licenses in New York and Vermont. Category II accreditation and Drivers license also required. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

Our practice offers routine care, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in house hospitalization. Our clients run the gamut of disciplines including but not limited to pleasure, hunter/jumper, dressage, endurance, and reproduction. In addition to our extensive equine clientele we also provide care for cattle (dairy and beef), small ruminants and camelids in our area. |
