| Objective of Talk | This session will provide a physiologic and economic basis for the benefits of preconditioning calves in preparation for subsequent phases of production. Value drivers for the parties involved in this transitionary phase of beef cattle production will be defined, and factors to consider when developing preconditioning programs with producers will be discussed. Finally, strategies for aiding producers in implementing preconditioning practices will be presented. | ||
