AABP Membership Information

Membership in the American Association of Bovine Practitioners is limited to veterinarians. There are 4 general classes of membership.

Membership benefits include:

• A Monthly Newsletter
• 2 Semi-Annual Issues of our journal "The Bovine Practitioner"
• Access to Our Email Listserver called AABP-L
• Access to Members Only area of the AABP website
• Reduced registration fees at the Annual Conference
• Printed Proceedings of the Annual Conference
• Annual Membership Directory
• In addition you will be able to network with fellow veterinarians world wide regarding solutions to the daily challenges faced by bovine practitioners and the clients we serve.

Active Members

Active members shall be veterinarians engaged in the general field of bovine medicine or those interested in bovine medicine. Active members shall be entitled to all the rights and priviliges of the association. Membership dues are $125.00 US yearly due in conjunction with the commencement of the fiscal and membership year on July 1. If you would like to join the AABP, Click Here.

Honor Roll Members

Honor Roll members are those active members who have attained the lofty age of 70 years and have maintained active membership for 20 or more years. Upon recommendation by the board honor roll members are excused from paying dues, but enjoy all rights and priviliges of active members.

Honorary Members

Honorary members shall be those persons who have made noteworthy and outstanding contributions to bovine practice. Unanimous approval by the board is required for this category. Honorary members who are AABP members have all the rights of an active member but are excused from paying dues or meeting registration fees. Honorary members who were not AABP members prior to being awarded honorary membership are excused from paying dues or meeting registration fees, but shall not vote or hold office.

Student Members

Student members shall be veterinary students at AVMA accredited colleges of veterinary medicine. Students may form affilliated student chapters. Dues for student members are $20.00 US per year.
