GUIDELINES FOR CONSORTIUM BIDS TO THE AMSTUTZ SCHOLARSHIP AUCTION

The AABP and the Amstutz Scholarship Committee welcome bids from groups to increase the participation in and donations to the Amstutz Scholarship Auction at the Annual Conference. Please follow these guidelines to assist the AABP office as you organize your group bid.

  1. It is suggested groups create a name for their consortium.
  2. Consortium bids are welcome in both the Live and Silent Auctions.
  3. Successful consortium bids will be given a receipt for the bid amount at the conclusion of the auction in the group name.
  4. Payment in full is expected at the conclusion of the auction. Payment can be made online via the AABP app, to AABP staff at the auction or at the registration desk on Saturday.
  5. The AABP will not bill individual consortium members. It is the responsibility of the consortium organizer to collect payment and be prepared to remit payment at the conclusion of the auction if your bid is successful.
  6. Have a plan in place in the event your bid is not successful. Suggestions would be to bid on another item or make a donation directly to the Amstutz Scholarship Fund in the name of your consortium.
  7. The AABP office will credit each individual with the amount of their donation to the consortium for tax purposes as well as to track their donations for recognition as donors to the Amstutz Scholarship Fund.
  8. Consortium organizers should fill out a spreadsheet, available from the AABP office, to assist with tracking individual donations.

Further Amstutz Auction rules, as well as a listing of live and silent auction items, can be found at Amstutz Auction Rules.
