We are seeking an individual who is invested in the beef industry with the drive to bring as much information as possible to our clients from the current research and technologies being developed.
We enjoy providing top level care for small animal and equine patients as well.
To say that we are absolutely passionate about our clinic culture is an understatement. We are looking for someone who is excited to work and grow as a team. We believe that with a firm foundation of trust for each other and a willingness to engage in respectufl conflict, we can grow both personally and in business. If you have never read the book (or listened to the audiobook) "The Ideal Team Player" by Patric Lencioni, we highly recommend it. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
|
The two locations that we work out of are quite different. Both locations are fully equipped for up-to-date cattle herd work. This includes portable Silencer chutes, multiple ultrasounds for pregnancy testing, Lane Manufacturing and SireMaster electroejaculators, and everything else for all seasons of the cow/calf cycle.
At our clinic in south-central Montana (Wilsall - 40 mi from Bozeman), we are predominately ambulatory. There is a small facility for haul-in bovine dystocia and equine emergencies; this location is 98% large animal. Multiple Terafloats, Alu-speculums, Abaxis blood machines, portable DR xray, IBEXX Evo-Ultrasound with multiple probes, and a set of portable horse stocks assist us in the day to day equine appointments. We are currently working with an architect to build a new haul-in facility that will be based in Livingston, MT (20 miles South of Wilsall) - planning to construct the Spring/Summer of '25.
At the location in Harlowton, we have a complete, brick-and-morter facility with lots of updated equipment. This location is 25% small animal and 75% cow/calf, with potential to grow all aspects, including equine. We have recently updated much of the small animal equipment; including brand new DR xray (also portable so can take in the field for large animal), new anesthesia machine, new anesthesia monitoring equipment, up to date in house blood machines. We are firm belivers that even rural America can provide top level care. On the large animal side of things, this facility is equipped with a full set of corrals and pens, a tilt chute, equine barn, power float, and storage barns. |
Other Personnel : |
2 full-time veterinarians and 2 part time veterinarians. 5 support staff |
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Our mission statement is “Dedicated to the advancement of producers through a goal-oriented focus on animal health and performance, while providing affordable, compassionate care for all animals.” We believe that if we all work as a team and combine our knowledge, networks, and experiences, then there are not many obstacles that we cannot get over. |
Practice Area: |
You definitely get all 4 seasons in Montana. We are located in the foothills of the Rockies and surrounded by multiple mountain ranges; including the Crazy Mountains, Bridger Mountains, Little Belts, and more. For recreating in our area, summer offers endless rivers and lakes to float and fish, mountains to explore, and music festivals to attend. Fall is best known for hunting everything from waterfowl and upland birds to elk, moose, big horn sheep and about everything in-between. Winter provides skiing and snowmobiling enthusiasts with the paradise that people from around the country and world travel to experience. Spring then is a breath of new life with calving season, shed hunting, and a welcome reprieve from winter. |
