Objective:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess a deep understanding of veterinary medicine.
We are looking for an associate to join our well established fully equipped clinic. Our high case load provides ample opportunities to practice both large and small animal medicine with opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest. Currently we have an opening for both a small animal and a large animal associate. We provide access to two mobile vet trucks, a portable hydraulic chute, hydraulic tilt table, digital radiograph, reproductive and diagnostic ultrasounds, and an in house abaxis machine/lab. Small animal case load includes preventative medicine, diagnostic ultrasound/digital radiology, in house Abaxis lab and surgical services as well as opportunities to practice exotic medicine. Large animal case load includes equine lameness, preventative medicine, AI and Embryo Transfer reproductive services, beef cow/calf therio., small ruminants, swine and sales yard responsibilities.
Lewiston Veterinary Clinic, situated in Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington, known as the LC Valley, may be the place for you. The confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers close by make this area a fisherman’s paradise. Salmon fishing is very popular May through October, and Bass fishing in the nearby lakes. With a short drive out of town, the area turns into a hunters paradise, with elk, bear, moose, deer, and turkey on the loose. The valley provides world class ample water sports, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and winter sports. If you aren’t an outdoorsman, there are many other activities and places to go; libraries, bowling alleys, shopping, the casino, etc. Lewiston and Clarkston have a population of approximately 63,000 and there are many rural towns nearby. Washington State University Veterinary referral and diagnostic services are only a short 30 minute drive away. Above average public schools available, with Lewis Clark College in town, and University of Idaho and Washington for the kids or future kids. An 8 short hour drive will bring you to the coast for a family vacation opportunity. The Spokane Valley and Coeur d’ Alene are great options for shopping, resorts, amusement parks, and big city fun. There are many other jobs available for your spouse or partner, as well, such as the hospital, mill, restaurants, automotive, etc.
