Job Description:
Objective:
|
Looking to hire 2-3 veterinarians for a new large animal practice as a part of Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op in Cocke County in East Tennessee. The practice will consist of beef, a little dairy, small ruminants, equine, swine, and poultry. Client education will be a major part of the practice. The practice will cover East Tennessee and western North Carolina. Truck, vet box, and all equipment to practice quality medicine will be provided. The schedule will consist of minimal emergency service with on-call phone service. Emergency farm calls will be at the doctor’s discretion with added compensation for emergency farm calls. The practice is located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, which offers all sorts of outdoor activities (hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, etc). The area also offers all of the tourist attractions associated with Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Competitive salary and benefits (retirement, vacation time, clothing allowance, CE allowance). Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op is very family oriented and believes in a balance of work and personal life. The practice will continue those beliefs. Cocke County Tennessee is not on part of VMLRP, yet. The state veterinarian is in the process of adding Cocke County. The Co-op is also working on a retention program that would pay a significant amount of your student loans after a few years of employment. Please message me if interested and would like to learn more. |
