Objective:

Training Required:

DVM or equivalent licensed in Ohio.

Experience Desired:

Experience preferred, but new grads will be welcomed and mentored. |

Salary is very competitive and is based on experience and level of expertise. |

License fees, liability and license defense insurance, matching IRA, OVMA, AVMA, and one other national association dues are paid. Paid vacation time is provided and each associate has scheduled time off during the week. Health insurance stipend is provided on top of salary. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Byland Animal Hospital is a large facility with 2 exam rooms, treatment area, pharmacy and laboratory. Spacious large animal haul-in facility with 2 box stalls and a cattle chute. Many cattle surgeries are performed in this area. Portable chute, BSE equipment, 4 portable ultra sound machines, power float, and 5 trucks with fully equipped Bowie units.
Small animal equipment includes DR digital x-ray, Abaxis blood machines, gas anesthesia machines, ultrasound, surgery suite, and dental equipment. |

4 Registered Veterinary technicians and 6 veterinary assistants. |

Byland Animal Hospital's energetic doctors and staff work closely together to create a dynamic work environment! We strive to be current on modern medicine and surgery. We emphasize preventative medicine in our large and small animal practice. Dairy and farm herd health and repro checks are scheduled and ultrasound is used. We are located in a very strong livestock area with a solid mix of quality Dairy and Beef cattle work. The Equine portion is growing. Companion animal portion of the practice is growing and busy. |
