Associate DVM needed for rural but busy mixed-animal practice. |

Training Required:

$80-90k starting salary, negotiable. Percentage of emergency work and production bonuses available as part of a total compensation package. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

We have a fully enclosed 5000 sq ft large animal barn w/ Flying W hydraulic tilt squeeze chute, hydraulic alleyway, working tub, and indoor pipe pens. We have 2 horse stalls and 2 sets of equine stocks in the barn. There are outdoor holding pens for larger groups of cattle. Fully stocked truck with Bowie Vet Box provided for ambulatory work. Small animal facilities offer 2 exam rooms, surgery room, isolation room, lab area, treatment and kennel areas. We also have a 40 kennel small animal boarding facility on site. |

We are a 4 DVM team with trained and experienced support staff; with a Staff to DVM ratio of 3:1. Our DVM's come from varying backgrounds and will provide excellent mentorship for both small and large animal medicine. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
We strive to provide high quality, modern, and compassionate general medicine and surgery. Bovine work is mostly of the cow-calf variety, with some stockers and feeders. Obstetrics, Breeding Soundess Exams, Herd processing/vaccinating, Lameness exams and other general exams feature in day to day work. Client education is valued, and the right candidate should find success growing the consulting aspect of the practice. In house diagnostics include new IDEXX blood machines, Universal Imaging portable digital X-Ray, New Esaote portable ultrasound, and Reproscan large animal ultrasound. We also offer in-house AGID and ELISA Coggins testing to our equine clients. |
