Job Description:

Objective:
|
Expectations for this position include primarily clinical service and teaching, and some didactic and laboratory teaching. The faculty member will share in the clinical and didactic teaching of students in the veterinary curriculum and the training of interns and residents in specialty emphasis areas. Responsibilities include individual animal care for food and fiber animal species (beef and dairy cattle, sheep and goats, camelids, and swine). The faculty member will participate in clinical emergency duty with other faculty members. Faculty are expected to develop new teaching and education courses and tools, contribute to the discovery of new knowledge, and to participate in outreach to veterinarians, producers, and other stake holders. |

Training Required:

Candidates must have a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree and have completed a clinical residency program and board certification recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Specialties (ACVIM, ACVS, ABVP).Although preference will be given to board certified specialists, candidates eligible to take their board certification examination will be considered |
