Job Description:
Objective:
|
Crazy Mountain Veterinary Service, a mixed animal practice with three different locations in South Central Montana, is adding an associate veterinarian. Associates have independence to work on their own varied case load, but are part of an incredibly supportive team of skilled veterinarians and willing staff. In 2019, we hired a new grad, who is still a thriving member of our team. As a clinic, we have learned so much about mentoring and nurturing a new vet’s skills and confidence. We are excited to start that process again.
Do you appreciate having access to digital radiography, in-house CBC/Chemistry and portable ultrasounds even though most of your diagnoses will be made based on a thorough history and physical examination?
Do you enjoy working outside despite blizzards, rainstorms, heatwaves, and the occasional hailstorm, sometimes all in the same day?
Do you enjoy long scenic drives on MT backroads, sometimes with the added challenge of snowdrifts, whiteouts, or greasy mud?
Do you delight in the sight of 300 heifers or 50 bulls in a corral waiting for your examination?
Could the perfect abscess brighten your day?
Do you get a thrill from grabbing a feral cat from inside a cage?
Does the smell of calf scours in the morning get your blood pumping better than a cup of coffee?
Do you treat necropsies like opening a Christmas present, you never know what you’re going to find?!
Do you think of dog hair with a touch of drool as a fashion accessory?
Does the challenge of delivering a 100 pound calf out the side door of a 1000 pound heifer make you feel satisfied?
Does the challenge of suturing up a gnarly equine laceration make you feel artistic?
Do you like the idea of working hard every day to empower ranchers to produce healthy, profitable beef; build rewarding relationships and offer quality veterinary medicine to the rural community?
If so, please give us a call, we would love to get to know you. 406-547-6347
