Objective:
|
Opening for 2 individuals with equine and bovine interest. Practice is presently a busy 3 vet practice. We are 85% equine with 15% bovine. Have hospital with 37 stalls, ICU, surgery, digital x-ray, endoscope, ultrasounds, shockwave, PRP, in house lab, etc. Practice diverse with emphasis on equine reproduction in spring, had 14 stallions in-house this year, with rest of year on equine wellness, lameness and horse health. Bovine is primarily reproduction work.
We are located in scenic S.E MN next to the Mississippi River near LaCrosse, WI. Rochester, MN is 45 miles west. The hills and valleys offer a wide variety of outdoor activites. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Diverse practice. Dairy consist of well managed herds of up to 500 cows. Beef is small herds up to 350 brood cows. Equine in spring is heavy on breeding with 13 StandardBred stallions in house along with other breeds. Do shipped semen, frozen semen and embryos. Equine population is ranch rodeo, trail and pleasure horse. See lots of lameness and soundness horses. |
