Job Description:
Objective:
|
Participate in the on farm Food Animal Field Services unit of the Production Management Medicine Service of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, including individual patient management, herd health management, and consultation with clients in the local practice area. Participation in the emergency service with other clinicians.
Participate in continuing education and outreach programs of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Participate in professional instruction on topics related to food animal health.
Participate in scholarly activity and participation in collaborative research. |
Training Required:

DVM or equivalent degree |
Experience Desired:
|
Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree. Practice experience, minimum of three years, with food animals is required. Clinical teaching experience, demonstrated commitment to service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are desirable attributes for this position. |
Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. |
