Objective:
|
Mitchell Veterinary Clinic is seeking a mixed animal associate (possibly two positions available) to join our growing practice. We have seven staff members in a modern 6000 square foot building that accommodates both our small and large animal services. We utilize Avimark software, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house blood, gas anesthesia and sixteen 4x14 foot indoor/outdoor dog runs. We have a stationary hydraulic/tilt chute, equine stocks, power floats as well as provide stocked vet trucks with box and chutes for mobile work. |

Training Required:

DVM and Missouri State License. |

Experience Desired:
|
Any experience level considered. Mentoring available upon request. |

Salary:
|
Competitive and negotiable based on experience. |

We utilize Avimark software, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house blood, gas anesthesia and have sixteen indoor/outdoor dog runs, isolation area, separate cat boarding and treatment area. We have a stationary hydraulic/tilt chute inside, equine stocks and power float. |

Our staff consists of seven dedicated team members that are eager to help our doctors provide the best possible care to our patients. Our team is led by a Certified Veterinary Assistant. We have a combined 62 years of veterinary experience. Our staff are hard workers who care about our clients, their pets as well as the reputation and success of our clinic. Mitchell Veterinary Clinic in El Dorado Springs, Missouri was established in 1995. We are a doctor owned practice located centrally between Springfield, Joplin and Kansas City. Nearby outdoor activities include; hunting, fishing, hiking, golf and boating. Short drives to several resorts, state parks and lakes surround us. The nearby lakes include Truman, Stockton and Pomme de Terre. The Conservation Department nearby has Schell-Osage and Four Rivers conservation areas. El Dorado Springs has thousands of acres of native tall grass prairie within minutes at the Wah'Kon-Tah Prairie. Also, located around town is the Wayside Inn Museum and the city park complete with the bandstand. Our city municipal band plays each summer in the bandstand next to the spring. We are home to Opera House theater, Gene Pray Memorial golf Course as well as varies car shows and festivals. We host several industries including Cedar Creek Beef Jerky, Foam Fabricators, Witt Printing and Cedar County Memorial Hospital. We have found El Dorado Springs to be a great place to raise a family.
