Objective:
|
We are seeking 1-2 full time veterinarians that would thrive in a fast-paced, mixed animal practice. A typical day would consist of surgery, small animal appointments, and large animal calls. Small and large animal emergency calls are offered at the practice but this schedule is spread over 8-9 DVMs. DVMs are supported on call with support staff. |

Salary:
|
A base salary of $80,000-$100,000 based on experience with additional production paid quarterly. Income potential is significant based on production. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

We have a newly renovated facility with 6 exam rooms and are in the process of adding an additional 4 rooms. The facility contains a surgical suite with two tables and a dental wet table, a separate orthopedic suite, lab area with IDEXX technology, a newly renovated indoor large animal working facility that includes a hydraulic chute and tilt table, ultrasound, in-house digital x-ray, and a large reception area. Vet trucks are provided. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
We have a thriving small animal practice that continues to grow. Our large animal numbers are growing as well, but not at the rate of small animal. We provide in house lab work, perform 3-5 dentals daily, approximately 10-15 surgical procedures daily, drop off appointments, large animal calls in house and on the farm, diagnostic ultrasound, bovine embryo work, orthopedic plating and pinning, lateral sutures and TPLO, bovine preg checking, equine dentistry and appointments, and much more. We want to support the growth of the practice and DVMs as they advance and add new skills. We provide an environment to encourage DVMs to pursue their skills and passions. |

We are located in rural Anamosa, IA with the population of approximately 5,500. We are only 25 miles from Cedar Rapids, IA which is where a large portion of our client base travels from. Our town contains a school district with an elementary, middle, and high school. Anamosa has a local swimming pool, a beautiful state park, a community theater, and community center. |
