Four day work week with rotational on call. Dictate your own schedule (on call included) and never feel the need to sit in an office just because it’s during business hours. Our practice provides services to a huge variety of clients: small and large dairies (bovine and small ruminant), backyard animals, work & performance horses, organic and conventional production systems. We provide alternative therapies including acupuncture, manual manipulation, laser therapy. We’d love a flexible, quick learning, open minded associate (or two, we're as busy as we want to be) to grow with us. Any specialty area of interest (for example, embryo transfer work, endoscopy, laparoscopic AI, equine lameness or podiatry, etc) is more than welcome and will be fully supported by the practice. Training Required:

Federal accreditation - Category 2 vet (if not already certified we can help after hire)
Experience Desired:
The more palpation experience the better, but we have lots of animals to hone your skills on. Our ideal hire has experience ultrasounding mares too and enjoys equine dentals.
Salary:
Negotiable; Base+Production+Bonuses, new grads likely to begin with a set salary for first 6 months or longer. Take home ER and Urgent and Above/BeyondThankYou fees monthly.

Fully ambulatory practice - one truck on the road per doctor and a shared equipment, drug and supply space, garage. Far away clients occasionally drive to our driveway / garage / barns for emergencies if doctor approves.
Vehicle, equipment, anything necessary to practice is provided.
Other Personnel :
3-4 full time doctors, Three client care specialists, 1-2 vet assistants, 1 fix anything 24/7 helper, 1 laboratory and organizational assistant.

Home base in Fultonville, NY, serving an area about an hour drive in all directions. The region has lots to offer: hiking, fishing, skiing (lots of outdoors activities) and beautiful views. Half an hour to Saratoga Springs, NY, half an hour to Albany, NY, 50 mins to Cooperstown. Just north of the Catskills and 15 mins south of the Adirondacks. Rural area with many farms of all sizes, and short drive to metropolitan areas. We have many close by equine referral centers and it is a three hour drive to Cornell.
