Objective:
|
Oxford Bovine is hiring! We are looking to expand our 7 dairy veterinarian team. We are located near Woodstock, the heart of South-Western Ontario’s dairy industry. We are a progressive practice focusing heavily on preventative herd health medicine and client education. Majority of work is dairy, with some beef and very occasional small ruminant. (No small animals and absolutely NO equine). We might be biased, but our clients are some of the best around and we strive to constantly improve and provide them with exceptional service. Our vets work as a collaborative team and we encourage individuals to pursue their own interests. On-call work is shared equally between all vets and is very minimal. |

Recently renovated office space/warehouse with drive in restocking ability. A stocked vet truck can be provided or mileage can be paid, depending on applicants preference. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

Oxford Bovine caters to progressive herds within an hour radius of our central location. Clients are well-adapted to most recent technology and management techniques. A great emphasis is placed on client education to prevent unnecessary after hours calls. As such, after hours calls are minimal. Our client base consists of farms ranging from 50 - 2000 cows as well as a number of mid - large calf raisers and some small ruminant dairies. |

South-Western Ontario provides a rural environment with close access to several growing metropolitan areas as well as close access to US. We experience moderate weather in summer and winter due to proximity to great lakes. |
