|
Plateau Veterinary Services is a well-established business that has been providing services to the local community for over 35 years. We focus on herd health and reproductive services for dairy and beef; however, with the increasing population of smaller farms we have diversified to accommodate that demand. We are equipped with portable ultrasound, portable digital radiography, a Lane Pulsator for breeding soundness work, and power dental equipment. We also offer laparoscopic AI services for our sheep and goat clients. We provide in-house milk culture services and have a local laboratory that provides rapid turnaround for routine bloodwork. Our clientele is well trained, and emergency work is minimal. We average 1 after-hours emergency per week with clients hauling animals in if they are located far away. |
Practice Area: |
We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and service multiple counties in the South Puget Sound. The practice is just below Mt Rainier and only a 50-minute drive to the national park. We travel approximately an hour in all directions with a few clients beyond our periphery. Days vary and can consist of taking a ferry to an island in the Puget Sound, working in the Cascade foothills, or staying local. Enumclaw, WA has a population of approximately 12,500 people and prides itself on maintaining an agricultural and farming identity while only being a short drive to big city amenities. Our practice is very family-friendly and the town is a great place to raise kids. If you like outdoor activities, the possibilities are endless! We have easy access to world-class skiing, hiking, mountaineering, biking, hunting, and fishing. You can ski in the morning and take your ocean kayak out in the afternoon! Enumclaw is less than an hour drive from Seattle, providing countless options for museums, restaurants, theatre, etc. |
