Objective:
|
Our team is seeking to add a full-time mixed animal veterinarian. As a privately-owned rural mixed animal practice, we offer care to companion animals, cattle (dairy and beef), horses, small ruminants, pigs, camelids, cervids and whatever you’re game for. Ambulatory services and haul-in are offered for livestock and equine patients. We serve many livestock farms, from small to large, and our goal is always to provide quality care and help their businesses succeed! |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

Our mixed animal clinic includes large and small animal areas to help facilitate treatment of patients. Each veterinarian is equipped with their own truck and vet box, fully stocked with equipment, medications and an ultrasound. We have both a small animal radiology room and on the farm top of line radiograph equipment. Two semen evaluation units are available for small ruminants and cattle. In-house diagnostics and treatments include but are not limited to; Imagyst or conventional fecal analysis, complete blood count, chemistry analysis, electrolyte analysis, urinalysis, Phovia light treatment, radiology and ultrasound. Equipment available for semen freezing, laparoscopic artificial insemination and embryo work as well. A boarded equine surgeon also leases part of our site so collaboration and referral are easy for difficult cases. |

Our clinic is currently staffed by 3 mixed animal veterinarians and one small animal veterinarian. We have both a small animal and large animal office manager to help keep things running smoothly. Office staff includes eight technicians and four receptionists. |

We are located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Our area offers gorgeous mountains, hiking, skiing and whitewater but also rich in small to medium sized farms.
