Objective:
|
Agricultural Veterinary Associates is accepting applications for a full time associate position. We are a 10 doctor 90% Dairy practice located in the major dairy area of southeastern Pennsylvania. The remaining 10% consists of some beef, sheep, goat and camelid work. Ideal candidate would have a strong interest in doing small ruminant work due to growing demand. |

Training Required:
|
DVM or equivalent, PA state license, and federal accreditation. |
|
Experience Desired:
|
Both recent (and upcoming) graduates and experienced veterinarians will be considered. |

Salary:
|
A very competitive compensation package includes a base salary plus a significant bonus based on productivity. |

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:

We have our own office building located in Lititz PA. Equipment, as well as a practice vehicle, is provided. Practice innovations include ultrasound for all doctors, in-house chemistries, various surgeries, a handheld billing system and business consulting services for clients. |

Our dairy work is performed on family operated dairy farms from 40 cows to over 1,000 cows. We are dedicated to the health and welfare of our clients’ animals, the health and productivity of their herds and the health and success of their business. Dairy work is limited to working with farms in a comprehensive way, gaining a complete understanding of their operations and seeking to help them achieve their health, productivity, and business goals. We encourage all our doctors to find and develop their own areas of focus. |
