Saddle up—because the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine (TTU SVM) is hiring a tenured or tenure-track faculty member to join our dynamic team in the heart of cattle country.
🧪 What You’ll Do:
Teach and mentor the next generation of veterinarians who want to serve rural and regional communities. Most of students aim to become mixed animal practitioners.
Contribute to research and scholarly activity in beef production medicine.
Engage in meaningful service to support the school and that impacts the cattle industry and rural communities.
Collaborate with an innovative, supportive, and fast-growing team at a school designed with production animal medicine at its core.

Training Required:

✅ What You Bring:
DVM (or equivalent) and eligible for licensure in Texas.
Solid experience in beef production medicine through clinical practice, consulting, graduate training, or specialty credentials (e.g., ABVP, ACVIM, ACVS, ACT).
A passion for teaching and a commitment to diversity, equity, and rural veterinary service |
