We are looking for a large-animals beef associate veterinarian with focus on cow/calf production and herd health.
Training Required:
DVM/VMD, South Dakota Veterinary Medical license, Federal accredidation required. Nebraska or Minnesota licenses encouraged but can be obtained at a later date.
Experience Desired:
We would prefer at least one year of practical experience, but encourage new graduates to apply.

Facilities provided by the veterinary practice:
We have a heated haul-in facility complete with hydraulic Silencer tilt chute complete with scale. We also have 3 portable foremost chute (one with a scale), a portable calf table and 2 portable foremost double alley systems. Our clinic also has an iv calf ICU and heated shop. We are looking to expand the clinic within the next few years also.
Other Personnel :
We are currently a one vet practice with 10+ years of experience. We have both licensed veterinary techinicans and livestock assistants on staff with years of experience to help guide you though day to day operations.
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
We are highly sought after for our pregnancy ultrasounds and semen evaluations. We also do large amounts of calf work as well as arm pregnancy checks and heifer development.
Practice Area:
We are located just south of Mitchell and I90 so access to activities is easily available. It is an hour to Sioux Falls for the airport or big city amenities. Rapid City and the Black Hills are only 4 hours away. We have extensive opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking or camping. There are also lots of great local shops, breweries or wineries. There are several top ranked schools nearby.
