Summary of the book: A young traveler arrives on a remote farm, needing work and a place to stay. The older farm couple hires him only to find the new farmhand has an uncanny bond with their animals — and a nearby estate with unsettling sculptures. With each visit, the stranger becomes more aware of a spectral presence in the old gardens, where something ancient and watchful begins to stir. In The Coigreach, the fourth novel from R.J.
