Objective:
|
Veterinary Associates is looking for a full time small or mixed animal
associate to join our eight doctor practice in Hazel Green, WI and Galena, Il. |
|
Training Required:
|
DVM - Wisconsin and Illinois licenses (paid for by clinic)
|
|
Experience Desired:
|
All levels of experience considered and we encourage new graduates to
apply. New grads will receive mentorship. If applicants have additional areas of interest, we will consider supporting and providing equipment to expand our services.

Offices in Hazel Green WI and Galena Illinois. Our Galena office was
built in 2014. Both function as mixed animal practices however, Hazel Green is predominantly large animal, Galena is predominantly small animal. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Our practice is predominantly dairy, beef, and companion animal. We offer small ruminant and equine services as well. Our large animal services include advanced reproductive technologies, ultrasound (Easy Scan), portable radiology, milk culturing lab, positive pressure tube ventilation design, milking system analysis, and breeding soundness exams. We have several portable cattle chutes (1 with a scale) for processing cattle and breeding soundness exams. Our clinic is equipped with DC305 and PC Dart allowing analysis of herd data. Many of our clients have also taken advantage of genomic testing.
In our Galena office, and includes complete IDEXX in-house lab including CBC, chemistry, and urine analyzer. We are equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, and ImproMed software. New dental machine with dental radiology and laser therapy are services offered. Our surgical suite offers electrocautery, Cardell monitoring, and gas anesthesia. |

atmosphere conveniently located 90 minutes from Madison, 20 minutes from
Platteville, Wisconsin and 20 minutes from Dubuque, Iowa. |
