Our clinic has a surgical and treatment area for haul-in, a conference room for weekly staff meetings, and offices for doctors and staff. Fully stocked trucks and portable ultrasounds are provided. We have an in-house lab for milk cultures, fecal floats, blood chemistry, and other diagnostics. Equipment for milking system analysis, ET/IVF transfers, and conventional flushing is available. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

We are a rural practice focusing primarily on dairy production medicine along with beef and small ruminant services. In addition to routine preventative, medical, and surgical care, other services provided include milk quality assessments and parlor audits, ET services, records analysis, and facility analysis. Our dairies range in size from small tie-stall herds to 3,000+ free stall herds. Beef clients are mostly cow-calf operations. Small ruminant clients include a mix of dairy, meat, and backyard pets. Our goal is to provide collaborative medicine, service, and consultation for our clients with an emphasis on communication, support, and mentorship in the clinic. We encourage professional development of the personal interests and strengths of our veterinarians. We have two excellent support staff that coordinate scheduling and general clinic operations in addition to providing assistance as technicians if needed. We are supportive of families and can accommodate flexible schedules. Our normal work week is four days, and on-call is shared equally among the doctors. We are located in Eastern NY, about one hour northeast of Albany. Greenwich is a friendly small-town community about 20 minutes from Saratoga Springs, which boasts an abundance of high-end restaurants, arts, shopping, and its historic track. We are right between the beautiful Adirondack mountains of NY and the Green Mountains of VT with many outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, skiing, and fishing readily available. New York City and Boston are both about a three hour drive away.
