Membership in the American Association of Bovine Practitioners is limited to veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians and veterinary students.

Attention: AABP is changing the dues year from  July 1 – June 30, to a calendar year, January 1 – December 31.


To transition all members to the calendar year dues year, we are offering two options for your dues renewal. Members can select a 6-month dues renewal at 50% of the annual rate (expiration date 12/31/2025) or an 18-month dues renewal at 150% of the annual rate (expiration date 12/31/2026). Member Type Explanations

Active Members: Active members shall be veterinarians engaged in the general field of bovine medicine or those interested in bovine medicine. Active members shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the association.

Graduate Student Members: Graduate student members are those who have graduated from veterinary school but are in a post-graduate program for an advanced degree or a veterinary internship at an academic institution.

Credentialed/Registered Veterinary Technicians/Technologists (RVT) Members: AABP welcomes Registered Veterinary Technicians/Technologists (RVT) to join our association as members. RVT members have access to all member benefits but cannot vote or hold office. RVT members must be professionally licensed in their state or province and have the support of a current AABP member.

Student Members: Student members shall be veterinary students at AVMA-accredited colleges of veterinary medicine.

Honor Roll: Veterinarians who are Active Members of the Association, have reached the age of 70 years, have maintained Active Membership for a period of at least 25 years. Contact Dr. Gingrich at fred@aabp.org to request this status.
