We are seeking a full-time associate for a mixed practice (primarily dairy farms and canine reproduction) |

Training Required:

DVM/VMD and PA license |

Experience Desired:

Two years or more of private practice experience is desired but not required. New graduates are welcome if they can show a track record of interest in large animal practice or mixed practice model. |

You will be provided with all the equipment, vehicle, tools needed to practice. We have a spacious building for small animal practice and have an in-house lab that does most blood work on site. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:
|
Large animal- Our clients are mostly Amish and Mennonite families with dairies ranging from 30 to 300 cows. The majority of those are tie-stall barns. Many of these are very progressive and use all the tools of the industry one would expect to see in a modern dairy.
Small animal- We focus heavily on canine reproduction at this practice. There are many quality kennels/breeders in the practice area with a large variety of dog breeds. We have in-house progesterone, ultrasound, and TCI insemination. |
