Objective:
|
We strive to provide the best medicine for our patients in a rural setting. The ideal candidate would be able to conduct thorough examinations of animals and diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans for various animal health issues. Prescribe medications and provide follow up care for patients. Educate pet owners on proper animal care and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care. Perform surgeries (if interested in surgery and has experience) and other medical procedures as needed. |

We have state of the art equipment blood machines, Xray equipment, large animal and small animal ultrasounds, dental machine and surgery suite. If wanting to do primarily large animal we would facilitate a vehicle for you and if not primarily large animal we will have one for you to use the days you are on the road doing calls and for weekend on call. |

Practice strengths and emphasis of the business:

We utilize modern diagnostic equipment daily such as digital x-rays, Pro Pet 70 ultrasound, BCF large animal ultrasounds and in house Idexx labs. There are a variety of surgical procedures outside the spay and neuter offered by our practice such as TTAs, PU surgeries, ear canal ablations, gastropexy and much more! We don't expect proficiency in all these areas but we do offer training for anyone interested in expanding their skills. We do also have some alternative treatment modalities such as acupuncture and a Companion animal therapy class IV laser. |

You will find plenty of hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, hunting and many more activities. Our little hamlet is ever growing. We are only 3 hours from NYC.
