Center Hill Veterinary Clinic proudly serves the agricultural heartland of Darlington, Wisconsin, delivering exemplary care to both large and small animals. We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate large animal or mixed animal veterinarian to join our established team.
Our clinic is located in a robust dairy region in southwest Wisconsin, with herds ranging from 50 to 5,000 cows, and a solid base of beef cow-calf producers. Approximately 70% of our patients are bovine, with the remainder split between small animal and equine cases. This unique distribution allows our veterinarians to develop deep expertise in cattle medicine, while also engaging in companion animal and equine care. State-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology enables our team to provide the highest standard of veterinary services across species.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to bovine, small animal, and equine patients. Truck and box provided.
• Conduct farm visits for herd health, reproductive management, and production medicine consultations
• Perform routine and emergency procedures, including diagnostics, treatment plans, and client education
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in our growing embryo transfer service; opportunities are available in this area
• Collaborate with our team-oriented group of four veterinarians to ensure the best outcomes for clients and patients
Training Required:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Eligibility for Wisconsin veterinary licensure
• Eligibility for Federal Accreditation at USDA Level II
• Experience with bovine medicine is highly desirable; experience with small animal and equine patients is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

- Our home base is in Darlington, WI with a clinic for small animal medicine with haul in availability for calf hernia surgeries
- Fully stocked truck and vet box, as the position is primarily ambulatory
- Portable ultrasound with goggles, portable digital min x-ray, in-house chem and cbc, Dairy Comp 305
- Satellite center for Trans Ova Genetics at our partner's farm locations, Wildcat Cattle Co, with heated haul in facility.
