Objective of Talk This presentation discusses current challenges faced in large animal medicine and briefly summarizes data that evaluated practice productivity and profitability when utilizing credentialed veterinary technicians appropriately. The presentation will also include an overview of a veterinary technician's credentialing and education process and the unique practice models that can be utilized in certain jurisdictions to help alleviate the strain on large animal veterinarians.
