Objective of Talk This session provides insights into the incidence of twinning in U.S. lactating dairy cows and how to reproductively manage twinning in high-producing dairy herds. We will review the mechanism of twinning focusing on key reproductive endocrinology and physiology. Further, we will discuss reproductive management strategies based on this endocrinology and physiology to decrease the incidence of twinning in dairy herds.
