Objective of Talk This session will cover practical approaches to biosecurity on the farm. Biosecurity practices based on route of disease transmission will be emphasized, as well as a review of basic principles of biosecurity. Additional discussion on biosecurity risks, barriers, and strategies will occur, and resources on helping producers create a site-specific biosecurity plan, as well as related topic-specific resources like disinfection, will be shared.
