I am a fourth year veterinary student with a background in farming, ranching, and rodeo who is interested in pursuing a career in large animal medicine, particularly beef production and equine medicine. I look forward to the opportunity to serve rural ranching communities as an associate veterinarian while continuing to develop my clinical reasoning and skills under the mentorship of practice owners/associates. I'm passionate about finding ways to help improve producer economic viability, production efficiency, and animal welfare. I'm open to positions that include some small animal work, but my ideal practice caseload would include more than 50% large animal. I also hope to join a practice with strong ties to their community that values outreach and education in 4-H and FFA. Ideally looking in the Eastern Colorado area, but I'm willing to relocate for the right job.
