AABP is accepting proposals for preconference seminars for the 2022 Annual Conference. The conference will be held in Long Beach, CA. Dates of preconference seminars will be Sunday September 18 through Wednesday September 21, 2022. Proposals will be evaluated for selection by the preconference seminar coordinator and the AABP office. The assigned dates for individual seminars are made by the AABP office based on available space and coordination with other seminars. Proposals that are incomplete will not be considered. The deadline to submit a proposal is January 31, 2022, at 5 pm Eastern. Notifications will be sent to all coordinators who submitted a proposal by February 28, 2022.
Proposals must be submitted using the online submission portal through the AABP database. You must fill out the title, objective, and description of your seminar. Seminar attendance is capped at 30 attendees. All speakers must be in-person to be on the faculty. Indicate the number of days for your seminar which will populate the budget for each speaker. If a speaker is declining payment, please indicate so in the notes section of your proposal so the office can adjust your budget accordingly. There are speaker maximums based on the number of days of the seminar. Please indicate if you have any special needs at the bottom of the proposal. If your seminar is selected, each speaker must complete the requested information by the deadlines provided at that time (such as submitting a CV and credentials for CE approval as well as a W9 for payment of speaker fees).
If you have any questions, please contact AABP Executive Director Dr. Fred Gingrich (email@example.com) or 2022 Preconference Seminar Coordinator Dr. Michael Capel (firstname.lastname@example.org).
