AABP Vice President and 2024 Preconference Seminar Chair Dr. Callie Willingham request proposals for preconference seminars. All proposals must be submitted online . The deadline to submit a proposal is January 31, 2024 at 5 pm Eastern. Late submissions will not be accepted. Notifications will be sent by March 15 to all submitters.
All proposals will be evaluated by volunteers from the AABP Forward Planning Committee using a rubric that can be found here. A limited number of seminars will be selected by the AABP Vice President and Executive Director to be offered at the 57th AABP Annual Conference, Columbus, OH. New seminars and previous seminars that have major revisions will be given greater consideration in an effort to offer new material to AABP members.
The seminar coordinator submitting the proposal must completely fill out the submission application and upload a detailed agenda for what will be presented listing the topic and speaker for each presentation. The number of speakers is capped based on the number of days of the seminar. Proposals submitted with more speakers than the limit will be rejected. Seminars will be held Sept. 8-11, 2024 and a limited number of half-day or 1-day seminars will be held during the conference on Friday or Saturday. The date assignment for the seminar will be determined by the AABP office.
